Vyaaj helps you compare loans and connect with lenders. To do that well, we have to handle some of your personal data — so we want to be straight with you about what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the control you have. We collect only what we need, we don't sell your data, and we never share it with a lender until you choose to apply.
Vyaaj is a digital loan marketplace operated by Trumflux Private Limited ("Vyaaj", "we", "us"). For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Trumflux Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary responsible for the personal data described here. Our registered office is at 626/E, HSR Jupiter, 1st Main Road, Sector 6, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102.
We collect data in three ways: what you give us, what we gather automatically, and what we receive from trusted third parties.
We use your data only for clear, stated purposes:
We rely on your consent for processing such as credit checks and sharing your details with lenders, and on other lawful bases (such as legitimate use and legal obligations) where the DPDP Act, 2023 permits.
When you ask Vyaaj to check your eligibility, we run a soft enquiry with credit bureaus where supported. A soft enquiry lets you see indicative offers and does not affect your credit score.
A hard enquiry — which can affect your score — happens only later, at the lender's end, when you formally submit an application to that lender and authorise it. We'll always make it clear before you reach that step.
[Confirm that your live integration genuinely uses soft pulls before making the "no impact on credit score" claim publicly.]
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only in these situations:
Each lender is an independent Data Fiduciary for the data it receives, and its own privacy policy governs how it uses your information once you apply.
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, measure how Vyaaj is used, and improve performance. Some are essential for the site to work; others are optional. You can manage non-essential cookies through your browser settings or our cookie controls where available.
We use industry-standard safeguards — encryption in transit, access controls, and regular reviews — to protect your information. No system is ever completely secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe and to limit who can access it to those who need it. If a data breach occurs, we'll act and notify in line with applicable law.
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law and regulation (for example, KYC and lending records often have minimum retention periods). When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity first.
Vyaaj is meant for users aged 18 and above and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has shared data with us, please contact us and we'll remove it.
We may update this policy from time to time as our services, technology or the law change. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, give you a clearer heads-up. Please check back occasionally.
